clean eating

Tomorrow I'll be changing my diet by trying to eat only non-processed foods. I'm going to try this for one week.
"CLEAN EATING". With the exception of protein shakes.

This is going to be a big deal for me. What concerns me most is the meal prep, but if I plan ahead maybe it won't be so bad. Another concern for me is verity. I know there are a lot of options out there - but do I really want to spend that much time on it?

In my research I wanted to find a place were I could purchase meats that were non-processed. I went to Nuxoll Food Center, and they will be my new meat provider. I was happy to find out that all of their meats are contracted out to farms that do not use any sort of processing, no hormones, or anything of that nature. I kind of gave them the "20 questions" while I was in there. They were very nice and informative.

What am I going to miss them most? Cottage cheese - that's an easy protein for me. Peanut butter, I really don't think I'll be making my own peanut butter or cottage cheese anytime soon. I will miss cereal, and SUBWAY.... I go there all the time.
AND a whole bunch of other things.
This is just a test for a week. I'm wanting to see how this makes me feel. Who knows, maybe I'll want to stick to it? OR maybe I'll want to incorporate it in what I do now and try to eat CLEANER than before - and enjoy the Subway or a a big bowl of cereal every now and then?
I wish there was a health food store in the area.
